These terms cover your use of the website factstore.io and the documentation published on it.

The software is licensed separately​

These terms do not govern the FactStore software. FactStore is released under the Apache License 2.0, and that license — not this page — determines what you may do with the code, including using it commercially, modifying it and redistributing it. Where this page and the Apache License disagree about the software, the Apache License wins.

Using this website​

The site is a public, free documentation resource. You may read it, link to it, quote it and share it. You may not:

  • use it in a way that damages, disables or overburdens it, or interferes with anyone else's use of it
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system connected to it
  • misrepresent your affiliation with the FactStore project

Automated access is welcome within reason: crawling and indexing for search engines, AI systems and research is explicitly permitted, subject to /robots.txt. Please crawl at a considerate rate.

Documentation content​

Unless stated otherwise, the documentation and other written content on this site may be reused under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, with attribution to the FactStore project and a link back to factstore.io. Code samples embedded in the documentation are Apache 2.0, like the software.

The FactStore name and logo are project identifiers. You may use them to refer to the project accurately. Please do not use them in a way that suggests your product, service or fork is official or endorsed when it is not.

No warranty​

The website and its documentation are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We try to keep the documentation correct and current, but we do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or free of errors, or that the site will be available uninterrupted.

FactStore is pre-release software and is not yet recommended for production use. Any decision to deploy it is yours.

Limitation of liability​

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the FactStore project and its maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — for example liability for intent or gross negligence, or under mandatory consumer protection law.

This site links to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their practices. Following such a link is at your own risk.

Privacy​

See the privacy statement. In short: this is a static site that sets no tracking cookies and collects no personal data.

Changes​

We may update these terms. The revision date above will change when we do, and the full history is public in the website repository.
